Pakistan National Cricket Team players Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have been putting in hard yards ahead of the Test series against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The two teams will be taking part in the two-match Test series, set to be played from the 21st August.

Going into the Test series against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team, the duo of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan will be important for the team. They will be holding a key for the Pakistan National Cricket Team in the series and a lot would be dependent on them in batting.

Ahead of the first Test match against Bangladesh, Pakistan National Cricket Team are giving their everything to prepare for the series. During the practice sessions, a hilarious moment also appeared as well as it was a classic moment from Pakistan in the fielding session.

In the catching session, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and the other players who were there dropped easy catches. The video of that session went viral on the internet and it saw many making fun of the Pakistan players.

Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have been the backbone of the Pakistan National Cricket Team for the last few years. The duo has been scoring runs consistently for the team in all three formats of the game and are the main reason behind the success of the team.

Babar is expected to bat at No.4 in the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh National Cricket Team. On the other hand, Mohammad Rizwan will be fighting for his place in the team along with Sarfaraz Ahmed, who has been decent in the format.

There have been reports that have claimed that Pakistan National Cricket Team management has asked the curators to prepare the green pitch for the first game. Therefore it is expected that Mohammad Rizwan is likely to get not ahead of Sarfaraz Ahmed in the playing XI for the first match.

Babar Azam will have a point to prove in Test series against Bangladesh

Going into the Test series against Bangladesh National Cricket Team, a lot of eyes would be on Babar Azam. The right-hander of late has struggled to get going in the longest format of the game and would want to silence his criticism.

Babar also has been under a lot of scanner since the T20 World Cup 2024. Under his leadership, the team faced a group stage exit and also his form wasn't that great. The right-hander would want to make an impact in Test cricket and with the series set to take place at home, it will be a huge opportunity for him to stage a comeback.

Babar Azam hasn't registered a single fifty in the longest format of the game since 2022. In the 10 innings that he played last year, he scored just 204 runs and also failed terribly in the Test series against Australia where he scored 103 runs at an average of 20.60 with a top score of 41 to his name.
