Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant was once again at his hilarious best during the ongoing encounter against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Ahmedabad.
Pant’s comments behind the stumps are a pure delight and we got another brilliant nugget during the seventh over of the Royal Challengers Bangalore innings when Glenn Maxwell smashed Amit Mishra for a disdainful six over long-off.
It all happened on the 5th ball of the seventh over when Glenn Maxwell slogged the leg-spinner for a mighty six over long-off.
And, as soon as the Australian swashbuckler stroked the six, Rishabh Pant behind the stumps said-
“Bahut tez ghumaya ye (He has stroked it very hard)”
That said, Amit Mishra eventually had the last laugh as Glenn Maxwell perished to the veteran leggie in his second over.
Mishra tossed the ball wide outside off-stump and Glenn Maxwell, in an attempt to slog it for another six- this time over long-on- proceeded to mistime it and ended up hitting it straight to Steve Smith at wide long-on.
