Have Enjoyed Every Time I Have Played For My Country - Ravindra Jadeja
Ravindra Jadeja expressed his pride in representing India over the past decade. He highlighted that every match played for India creates lasting memories. Jadeja shared his journey from white-ball cricket to enhancing his red-ball skills.
"Yeah, I think it's special. When you achieve something while playing for India, it's pretty special. I'm playing Tests for 10 years and I'm proud of myself. Whatever you do for your country, you feel good and you feel special. It remains in your memory forever. I have enjoyed every time I have played for my country," Jadeja said.
"As a youngster, I started in white-ball cricket. Gradually, I improved by red-ball game. I improved my batting. The hard work has paid off. When I go for batting, I try to give myself some time. See how the wicket is behaving and what the bowlers are trying to do. I try to give myself some time before playing my shots," he added.
Jadeja completed his 300th Test wicket during the first innings of the ongoing Test match. He became the third Indian all-rounder to reach the milestone of 3,000 runs and 300 wickets after Ravichandran Ashwin and Kapil Dev. The 35-year-old took five wickets in India's 280 run win in the first Test.
