The 32-year-old New Zealand National Cricket Team batting all-rounder Daryl Mitchell played a stupendous innings in the first semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 against India National Cricket Team at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Wednesday, November 15.

On the way to his ton, he smashed some amazing fours and sixes. Daryl Mitchell???s most impressive six came in the 27th over, which was bowled by Ravindra Jadeja.
On the 5th ball of the 27th over, Ravindra Jadeja bowled a tossed-up delivery that was in Daryl Mitchell???s zone. The all-rounder cleared his front leg and launched the ball over the long-on for a huge 107-m six. With this, he also broke Shreyas Iyer???s record for the biggest six in the ongoing edition of the World Cup.

Mitchell completed his ton off just 85 balls against India and became the second batsman after Sourav Ganguly to hit two hundreds against the same team in a World Cup edition. Ganguly did that in the 2003 World Cup against Kenya.
Also, Mitchell now holds the record for most sixes by a New Zealand batter in a single edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup.
