Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batter Dewald Brevis has been absolutely energetic on the field in the ongoing game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The Southern derby between the teams is taking place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Dewald Brevis has been moving everywhere on the ground like a flash and has given his best. The right-hander, who recently joined Chennai Super Kings, has made his presence felt in the league in a few games and has also done the same in the ongoing game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
Dewald Brevis and Sam Curran come up with great team work to remove Jitesh Sharma
After taking a magnificent catch of Jacob Bethell, Dewald Brevis also had his share in the wicket of Jitesh Sharma. Although most of the hard work was done by Sam Curran but the catch went to a young South African National Cricket Team batter, who showed great presence of mind.
Jitesh Sharma got out on the 5th ball of the 17th over when Noor Ahmad was bowling. The Chennai Super Kings spinner bowled a flat delivery outside off, which was a googly. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter attempted to play the pull, but he didn't get the kind of connection he would've wanted.
Jitesh Sharma miscued it off the toe-end, and Sam Curran, who was in the deep, took the catch running across from long-on. As soon as he realised that he might touch the boundary rope, he passed the ball to Dewald Brevis before going over the ropes.
