India wicketkeeper batter Dhruv Jurel has been making a huge impact with the gloves in the ongoing Duldeep Trophy 2024. The game between India A and India B in the tournament is taking place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Dhruv Jurel has been making a great case for him for the Bangladesh Tests because of his sensational keeping skills. Playing for India A, the keeper-batter has been sensational behind the stumps in the ongoing game and has put his team at the top with his brilliant glove work.

Dhruv Jurel took a brilliant catch in the first innings to remove opposition skipper Abhimanyu Easwaran (13). After that, he made sure that he continued the good work, and made sure that he kept doing the same in the second innings of the ongoing match.

Dhurv Jurel first came up with the brilliant effort to remove Yashasvi Jaiswal. Khaleel Ahmed bowled a full ball that was down the leg to which the batter shaped up for a flick. The ball went close to the bat and caught the edge and the keeper behind the stumps came up with a brilliant effort.

Dhurv Jurel, behind the stumps, took a good low catch. He dived to his right and plucked the brilliant catch. Yashasvi Jaiswal didn't have a great outing with the bat in the second innings as he managed just 9 runs off 16 balls.

If this was not enough, Dhruv Jurel came up with another magnificent effort behind the stumps to remove Musheer Khan. It was even better than the previous catch that he took and put his team at the top with the wicket of Musheer, who slammed a brilliant 181 runs in the first innings of the game.

Akash Deep bowled a delivery on the length that was angling down. Musheer Khan shuffled right across as he attempted to help it on its way with the flick. The batter got the thick inside edge to the left of the keeper Dhruv Jurel, who went flying and completed a one-handed screamer.

India A pacers Akash Deep and Khaleel Ahmed combined to pick three early wickets to leave India B tottering at 23/3. But after that, it has been all about Sarfaraz Khan and Rishabh Pant, who have taken the game away from the Shubman Gill-led side.

Sarfaraz Khan and Rishabh Pant counter-attacked the opposition bowlers and registered a quick fifty-plus partnership. The duo hit a flurry of boundaries and put the opposition under pressure with their brilliant batting, taking the team past a 150-run lead.

Sarfaraz Khan scored 46 runs off 36 balls before getting out to Avesh Khan. Rishabh Pant, on the other hand, was at 30 at the time of writing this piece. He would be hoping to make a big impact before making a comeback into the Indian team for the Tests against Bangladesh.
