England were all set to take on the West Indies for the third ODI match at the Kennington Oval in London on June 3. The start of the match was delayed due to heavy traffic in London as the West Indies team bus was stuck in the traffic, and to avoid a traffic jam, English players arrived on lime bikes at the ground.
England players used rental bikes to arrive at the venue and navigate the congested London streets on two-wheelers rather than a bus.

Traffic jam in London
The West Indies team were struck north of the river in heavy traffic, and to avoid the traffic, the England players rented some lime bikes to reach the venue on time.
The ECB released a statement to address the delay in the match as they wrote, “Due to a delayed arrival of one of the playing teams, who are stuck in heavy traffic north of the river, the scheduled start of play will be delayed.
Once all members of the playing teams arrive, the match officials will coordinate updated timings and discuss any impact on the schedule of play. We will update spectators with the schedule of play as soon as we are able to.”
According to the reports, road closures were the reason for the heavy traffic jam in London, and four-wheelers were stuck on the road. English players arrived at the venue on time, but the Caribbean team failed to reach the ground on time, and thus the start of the match was delayed.

Rain delay in the England vs West Indies 3rd ODI
The hosts won the toss and elected to bowl first As a result, the hosts removed the West Indies top order under the first powerplay. West Indies lost three wickets under seven overs as Saqib Mahmood, Brydon Carse, and Matthew Potts picked one wicket each.
After the early trouble from the English bowlers, Keacy Carty and Sherfarane Rutherford built a handy partnership of unbeaten 55 runs, and West Indies were 83 for 3 in 15 overs before the drinks break.
After the drinks break, Rain halted the match, and currently, the covers are on the ground, but it was looking like a passing shower. The match would be resumed, possibly after the passing shower.
Will the West Indies avoid a clean sweep?
The hosts have beaten the West Indies in the first two ODIs and now eye to clean sweep of the Caribbean team. In the first ODI, England smashed 400 runs and bundled out West on just 162 runs.
West Indies gave the fight in the second ODI by scoring 308 runs in the first innings and also sent half of the English team in just 133 runs, but Joe Root smashed an unbeaten ton to help his side win the second ODI.
