Dinesh Karthik and Murali Vijay, two of the Indian team’s mainstays, will also be remembered as superstars. Vijay was a constant in the Test team for many years, but Karthik recently joined the Indian team and is starting a new chapter in his career.

Vijay has made news recently after scoring an incredible century for his side Ruby Tricky Warriors in the current season of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2022.

Fans Make Things Weird For Murali Vijay As They Chant Dinesh Karthik’s Name

However, during one of the most recent TNPL games, supporters began chanting Dinesh Karthik’s name, which caused some discomfort for Vijay when he was fielding. The two have a history together because Nikita Vanjara, Karthik’s first wife, allegedly had an affair with Murali Vijay.

Later, DK and Nikita divorced, and while she later wed Vijay, Karthik also wed Dipika Pallikal, one of India’s top squash players.

A video of the event, in which supporters were seen yelling “DK…DK” in front of Vijay during a recent TNPL game, has gone viral on social media like crazy.

In the video, Vijay can be heard requesting from the crowd to stop using Karthik’s name. He seemed to find the chanting offensive. Earlier, the veteran scored a century off only 57 balls when he made his TNPL comeback.

When witnessing her husband charging the opposing bowlers with all of his might and after one of the videos she posted on her Instagram stories for Vijay went viral, his wife Nikita was also enraged.
