The Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune isn't turning out to be a good venue for the India National Cricket Team. They have been put under tremendous pressure, and their chances to win the game look very, very bleak.

India got all out for just 156 runs and conceded a lead of over 100 runs. Witn pitch offering spin, Ravichandran Ashwin straightaway took the new ball and almost provided his team with the early breakthrough. However, the batter had a lucky escape as the umpire's call saved him early on.

Ashwin bowled an arm ball from a length that went under the bat as Tom Latham tried to sweep. The ball hit the back thigh pad and was given not out. Skipper Rohit Sharma went review for LBW, but the impact was the umpire's call, and this saved the New Zealand National Cricket Team skipper.

Ravichandran Ashwin will have to play a massive role for the India team in the ongoing game. The off-spinner had a decent outing in the first innings as he picked three wickets and brought his team back in the game after New Zealand batters put on early partnerships.

Ashwin, in the ongoing innings, has looked decent with the ball. The off-spinner has removed Will Young and has ensured that his team goes into the team with two wickets under their belt in the second innings of the New Zealand National Cricket Team with the bat.
