A furious Hardik Pandya gave Ashwani Kumar an earful during the ongoing match between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
The incident took place in the 11th over when Ashwani was introduced into the attack. At the end of the 10th over, Punjab Kings were on 89/1 in pursuit of 185 runs in the must-win clash. With Punjab in a strong position, Mumbai Indians were in desperate need of a wicket, and captain Hardik Pandya decided to give the responsibility to Ashwani Kumar

However, the left-arm pacer could not live up to the expectation, and Hardik Pandya was not at all impressed with it. On the first ball of the over, he gave away a single before Josh Inglis hit him for a four on the next delivery. It was a low full-toss and the Australia star reverse scooped it over short third man for a four.
The next ball from the pacer was a pitched-up delivery outside the off stump. The ball was there to be hit, and Inglis duly obliged. With no fielder at long-off, Inglis drilled the ball down the ground for the second four of the over.
As soon as Inglis hit the four, Hardik Pandya appeared visibly frustrated at Ashwani for not sticking to the fielding plan. The Mumbai Indians skipper was seen saying something to the pacer angrily.
