PC: X

Nicholas Pooran was absolutely furious with Abdul Samad after the latter was dismissed during the ongoing game between Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

The incident took place in the last over of LSG's innings. The score was 185/4 at the end of the 19th over, and the onus was on a well-set Nicholas Pooran to guide his team to a big total. The West Indies star was batting on 38 runs off 24 balls when the final over of the innings started. On the other hand, Abdul Samad was still new to the crease and was batting on 3 off 4 balls.

Nicholas Pooran faced the first ball of the over from Nitish Reddy. The SRH allrounder began with a wide before being hit for a six by the West Indies star. It was followed by another wide before Pooran took a single to give the strike to Samad.

On the third ball, Pooran desperately tried to get back the strike. After Samad missed Reddy's delivery, Pooran set off for a quick single. Samad duly obliged as well, but Pooran failed to get back inside the crease safely. Before he could get inside the crease, Ishan Kishan hit the stumps.

Pooran had no other option but to walk off the field. And after a while, the left-handed batsman made it clear that he was absolutely furious with the way things panned out in the final over. He lost his cool in the dressing room when Samad was clean bowled on the 5th ball of the over.

The cameras caught Pooran reacting furiously to the dismissal. He was seen throwing away his pad in anger after Samad was dismissed by Reddy.
