A shocking incident took place during the 27th match of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025) on Saturday, April 12 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad.
Australia National Cricket Team stars - Travis Head of Sunrisers Hyderabad and Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis of Punjab Kings - were seen engaging in a nasty clash on the field.

Aussie superstars clash in IPL
The Punjab Kings and the Sunrisers Hyderabad are playing an intense match in Hyderabad. Batting first, PBKS posted a colossal total of 245/6 on the board, and chasing the target the explosive SRH batting unit showcased its true potential.
Openers Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma went berserk from the ball one and absolutely destroyed the bowling unit of Punjab Kings. The intensity of the match was so high that even the Australian superstars couldn't control themselves and were seen having a heated exchange with each other.
In the 9th over, Travis Head had smashed Glenn Maxwell for back-to-back sixes. Then, on the 5th ball of the over, Head again went for a boundary but he mistimed a pull and the ball went towards Glenn Maxwell, who fired back a throw towards the keeper.
This made Travis Head angry and he said something to Maxwell, who looked surprised. After the end of the over, Head looked furious and was seen continuously saying something to Maxwell, who also came up with fiery replies.
Things didn't end there as Marcus Stoinis came in support of his teammate Glenn Maxwell and was seen having a heated chat with Travis Head.

What happened in the previous IPL match between PBKS and SRH?
In the previous IPL clash between the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Punjab Kings, the Pat Cummins-led side won by four wickets in a high-scoring thriller at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on May 19.
Batting first, PBKS posted a great total of 214/5 on the board. Prabhsimran Singh (71 off 45) and Atharva Taide (46 off 27) laid the foundation for a big score with a 97-run opening stand. Rilee Rossouw (49 off 24) carried on with a brilliant knock before Jitesh Sharma’s unbeaten 32 off 15 gave PBKS a strong finish.
For SRH, T Natarajan bagged two wickets, while Pat Cummins and Vijayakanth Viyaskanth got one wicket each.
Chasing 215, SRH lost Travis Head for a golden duck on the very first ball, but Abhishek Sharma’s stunning 66 off 28 balls turned the game around. He built a quickfire 72-run stand with Rahul Tripathi (33 off 18), setting the tone for the chase.
Even after Abhishek’s dismissal, Heinrich Klaasen took control with an incredible 42 off 26 to guide SRH close to the finish line before Abdul Samad and Sanvir Singh completed the job with five balls to spare.
