New Zealand National Cricket Team all-rounder Glenn Phillips has been a live wire on the field in the ongoing first Test against the India National Cricket Team batter. The first match of the three-match series between the teams is taking place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Glenn Phillips has been giving his everything on the field for the New Zealand National Cricket Team. The all-rounder displayed a fine fielding effort for his team and saved crucial runs for his team in the field, putting pressure on the India National Cricket Team batters.

Phillips' first stunning effort came on the last ball of the 16th over. Ajaz Patel bowled a full ball outside off to Yashasvi Jaiswal. The India batter leaned right across and forward to sweep it towards deep mid-wicket and it seemed it would go for an easy boundary.

The all-rounder removed Virat Kohli for 70 runs on the last ball of the day and made the entire crowd at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru go silent, leaving the Indian team in shock.

After ending New Zealand's innings on 402 runs, conceding a lead of 356 runs, India, in their second innings, had a great start to their innings. Skipper Rohit Sharma (52) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (35) added 72 runs for the opening stand, playing glorious shots in the innings.

After that, Virat Kohli (70) and Sarfaraz Khan (70*) took centre stage. The duo put the pressure back on the opposition with their 136-run stand. But the day didn’t end in India’s way as on the last ball, they lost Virat Kohli. At Stumps on Day 3, India was 231 for three and is still 125 runs behind New Zealand.

For New Zealand, Aijaz Patel has been the pick of bowlers so far in the second innings. He has picked two wickets while Phillips has bagged one wicket. They would be keen to take early wickets on Day 4 and tilt the game in their favor.
