In a colossal blow for the India National Cricket Team, the star all-rounder Hardik Pandya seemingly suffered an injury on his leg during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final match against the Australia National Cricket Team.
The high-octane clash between India and Australia was hosted by the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, March 4, and it was an absolute thriller.

Hardik Pandya gets injured in ICC Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final
India National Cricket Team clinched a stunning victory by 4 wickets in the semi-final game against Australia to storm into the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final.
The top performer for India was the batting stalwart Virat Kohli, who played a composed innings of 84 runs off 98 to make sure that his team completed the 265-run-chase.
However, Kohli was not the lone warrior in the innings as he received great support from Rohit Sharma (28), Shreyas Iyer (45), Axar Patel (27), KL Rahul (42*) as well as Hardik Pandya (28).
All the contributions by the Indian batters were important, but the most impactful one came from Hardik Pandya's bat as he slammed his 28 runs off just 24 balls, and he smashed 1 four and 3 sixes to put the Aussies on the back foot.
However, before smashing big shots, Hardik Pandya had picked up an injury due to KL Rahul's call while running between the wickets in the 47th over.
On the second ball of the over, Adam Zampa bowled a leg-spin delivery on short length, and Hardik Pandya played it towards extra cover before taking off for a single. Pandya was in full mood to complete a double, but KL Rahul stopped him and sent him back.
As KL Rahul signaled Pandya to stop, the all-rounder put the brakes, and in the process, he seemed to have injured his leg. He was seen limping after that and was in pain as well. Despite that, Hardik Pandya showcased great determination and played a crucial role in the win.

After India's win in the semi-final, the legendary India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh took to X to praise Pandya, Mohammed Shami, Virat Kohli and others. He stated:
