Harry Tector took the catch in the first innings, during Ravichandran Ashwin's over. Ashwin, the captain of the Dublin Guardians, was up against the New Zealand National Cricket Team all-rounder Michael Bracewell on the second ball of the 18th over. The left-hander Bracewell went for a cut shot through the point region only to be caught in the safe hands of Tector.
It was a well-drawn execution by the Ravichandran Ashwin-led Guardians. The experienced spinner deliberately pitched the ball well outside of the off stump and spun it away from the batter to force Bracewell to swing the bat.
The batter was already under pressure as there were a few dot balls before the delivery. Coming under pressure, Michael Bracewell smashed the ball hard. The ball was flying between the point and cover region.

The batter might have thought to see the ball rolling towards the boundary rope, but the fielder, Harry Tector, had different thoughts. He kept running under the line of the ball, keeping both eyes on it. He covered a good amount of the ground before throwing his body in front, bending slightly to the right, and grabbed the ball. Michael Bracewell had to depart only for a couple of runs off 2 balls.

Though that single catch was not enough to prevent Amsterdam Flames from securing a massive total on the scoreboard, batting first. Amsterdam Flames got 214 runs in 20 overs, losing only five wickets. Curtis Campher's 66, 49-run knock by Bas de Leede, and an unbeaten 48 from Tim David bolstered the total of the team.
The 215-run target proved more than enough to defeat the Dublin Guardians in the match. Daryl Mitchell, Harry Tector, Noah Croes, and the former India cricketer Vijay Shankar tried to play some significant knocks in the middle. Despite some contributions from those four batters, the Guardians, without producing any well-crafted partnership, fell well short of the target total. Amsterdam Flames won the match by 59 runs.
