Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) pacer Harshit Rana brought his team back into the game during the ongoing game against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The match between the two teams is taking place at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Harshit Rana didn't have a great start to his spell as he was taken for a lot of runs by the Lucknow Super Giants openers in Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh. Both the batters looked in terrific touch as they attacked bowlers right from the start.

Harshit Rana brought his team back in the game with the wicket of Aiden Markram after carnage by Lucknow Super Giants openers

Aiden Markram was the one who played the aggressive role at the start, and he made sure that he didn't spare any bowlers. He also didn't go easy on Harshit Rana as Lucknow Super Giants was off to a flying start with the bat.

However, it was Rana, who brought his team back in the game as he removed Aiden Markram. The fast bowler was hit for a four on the first ball of the 11th over and on the very next delivery, he came up with the magical delivery to remove the Lucknow Super Giants batter.

Harshit Rana bowled a slower delivery, which was an off-break and breached Aiden Markram's defense. The batter tried to push at it, but he got beaten, and the stumps were shattered. The fast bowler was extremely pumped up after the wicket.

Rana came up with a fiery send-off as he was seen gesturing the batter to go back to dugout.

Aiden Markram missed his well-deserved half-century by just three runs, scores 47 runs off 28 balls

Aiden Markram looked in his golden touch with the bat and missed his well-deserved half-century by just three runs. The opening batter ended with an inning of 47 runs off 28 balls. He slammed 4 fours and 2 sixes as well, batting with a strike rate of over 167.

Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh added 99 runs for the opening partnership to put the Kolkata Knight Riders under massive pressure. After he got out, Marsh went on to play a magnificent innings of 81 runs off 48 balls to take his team past 150 runs.

Nichols Pooran also slammed a brutal half-century off just 21 balls. Harshit Rana had a horrible outing with the ball, as he was taken for runs in his third over as well. The left-hander slammed two consecutive sixes to put the pacer under massive pressure.
