Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Virat Kohli has been in the news ever since IPL 2025 began. The batter has been having a decent time in the league but hasn't been at his best so far in the 5 games that he has played.
Virat Kohli, who was the second leading run-getter in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, started IPL 2025 on a high. The opening batter slammed a magnificent half-century in the game against Kolkata Knight Riders, and it was almost certain that another big season is on the cards.
Virat Kohli played a magical innings of 67 runs against the Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium
However, in the next two games, he failed as he couldn't score as fluently as was expected. The batter scored 31 and 7 in the next two games and then made a dominating comeback against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Kohli slammed his second half-century of the IPL 2025 as he played a magical innings of 67 runs. Thanks to his brilliant knock with the bat, Royal Challengers Bengaluru posted a massive total on the board and registered a win at Wankhede Stadium for the first time since 2015.
Virat Kohli scored 22 runs against Delhi Capitals at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium
In the most recent game against Delhi Capitals, Virat Kohli couldn't make a big impact with the bat. He started playing 2nd fiddle with Phil Salt and took Royal Challengers Bengaluru off to a flying start. But he couldn't cash in on that, as he was back in the hut after scoring just 22 runs.
While his performances so far haven't been up to expectations, Hyderabad police seized an opportunity to take a jibe at the batter. They shared an awareness post, urging people to wear helmets on the road while driving two-wheelers.
What caught the attention of many was that they used the video of Virat Kohli getting hit on the helmet during the game against Chennai Super Kings, which took place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
They shared the video with the caption: "Your Head has no spare parts. Either on the Road or a Field,🪖a helmet isn’t optional — it’s survival."
