"One of the toughest challenges" - Abhishek Nayar
The BCCI recently released a video of the training session in which the coaching staff was seen working hard with the players. Assistant coaches Abhishek Nayar and Ryan ten Doeschate along with the bowling coach Morne Morkel revealed the plans before the series.
Abhishek Nayar called the tour one of the toughest challenges for a visiting cricketer. He spoke about the head coach Gautam Gambhir and the senior cricketers in the team talking about the importance of this tour and how it makes an individual a better cricketer.
"It's one of the toughest challenges for an Indian cricketer coming here and overcoming it. Gauti bhai (Gautam Gambhir) had a chat with the boys," Nayar said.
"Just before we started, some of the senior boys, Bums (Jasprit Bumrah), Virat (Kohli), Ash, (Ravichandran Ashwin) all having a chat with the guys how they came here as youngsters with a lot of seniors around and how they felt that once you finish an Australia series, you go back a better cricketer," he added.
"I think a lot of young boys are really keen, raring to go and make a name for themselves by the end of this tour," Nayar showed confidence in his boys.

Bowling coach Morne Morkel called the series a "showpiece" in the international calendar. He called for hard sessions in training and claimed that the five-match Test series will be tough.
"It's a showpiece on the international calendar. It's the teams that's not going to give anybody an inch of sniff and it's going to be hard-fought sessions. I am hopeful that the next five Test matches are hard," Morkel said.
