Hardik Pandya came up with a magical performance with the bat and ball in the T20 World Cup 2024. The all-rounder showcased his skills at the big stage and made sure that he helped his team end the title drought after the 11-year long and helped them win the title.
Hardik Pandya brought his best and made sure that he stepped up big-time for his team in the tournament. He was India's MVP in the tournament as he pulled the team out of difficult situations and made sure that the team won the tournament without losing a single game, becoming the first team to achieve the feat.
In the final of the T20 World Cup 2024, Hardik Pandya was given the responsibility to defend 16 runs in the last over against South Africa. He rose to the big occasion and made sure that he won the game for his team, removing David Miller on the first ball.
His sensational performance in the T20 World Cup saw all the boos turning into cheers as soon as he arrive in India, the all-rounder received massive cheers. He was even the main man in India's victory parade in Mumbai, where he didn't get any support.

Hardik Pandya made a huge impact for India in their T20 World Cup win. The all-rounder scored 144 runs at an average of 48.00 and a strike rate of 151.57 in six innings and was even more exceptional with the ball. He bagged 11 wickets in 25 overs at an economy rate of 7.64.
With Rohit Sharma retiring from the T20I, Hardik Pandya is likely to take over the captaincy of the Indian team in the shortest format of the game. He has been doing the job when the opening batter was rested but he's now expected to lead the team as the team goes through transition.
