English cricket commentator, television and radio cricket broadcaster, Isa Guha, broke down on live TV while paying condolences to legendary Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne.

Isa Guha is a former England cricketer who played in the 2005 World Cup and the 2009 World Cup. She represented England in 8 Test matches, 83 One Day Internationals and 22 Twenty20 Internationals between 2001 and 2011.

Meanwhile, on Friday, March 4, the cricket fraternity was left stunned after Fox Sports broke out the news of the sudden demise of the Australian great Shane Warne.

According to a brief statement released by Warne’s management, the spin wizard was found unresponsive in his villa in Koh Samui, Thailand.

“Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived,” a statement read.

“The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”

In a video shared by Fox Cricket on Twitter, Isa Guha delivered an emotional few words on Warne and said that it was intimidating being around the legendary leg-spinner. She added that she absolutely loved working with Warne.

“Just stunned, just loved him, he did so much for so many people, it was magic, he was magic, watching him on screen as a cricketer, so many incredible stories of him playing cricket.”

“Coming into the Commentary box could have felt quite intimidating being around someone like Shane Warne, but he showed tremendous respect. When he respected and liked someone he always had that loyalty and generosity that gave me tremendous confidence in the commentary box. I loved working with him I loved talking cricket with him.”

She further added that Warne supported him a lot in her journey as a commentator and as a broadcaster, which she will never forget. Speaking on Fox Cricket Isa Guha said:

“.. Tremendous excitement, I think, being in his presence, he really supported me in my journey as a commentator and as a broadcaster. I will never ever forget that, I went on to Melbourne to try and catch up with him but didn’t get an opportunity. I know that he is someone who had tremendous gratitude for everything he achieved the people that he met on his journey, his family, he always talked about his family, he was happy with life.”
