India is currently behind in the series as England won the first Test in Hyderabad defeating the hosts by 28 runs. India has not lost a Test series at home since 2012 and has won 16 consecutive Test series at home since 2012. The last team to beat India in India was England who defeated the hosts 2-1 in 2012 under Alastair Cook.
