On the 4th ball of the 19th over, Jasprit Bumrah bowled a low full-toss angling in on middle, to which MS Dhoni whipped it uppishly and didn't bother to keep it down. Tilak Varma, who was at deep backward square leg, ran in and got low to take a well-judged catch to send the keeper-batter packing for a low score.

What stole the limelight was the reaction of MS Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi, after the batter got out. She was absolutely disappointed as she kept her head down.

I like the odd used surfaces - Mitchell Santner

Mitchell Santer, who returned with the figures of 1/14, talked about his spell, saying that he likes to use used surface. While talking about the team's performance, he said:

"I like the odd used surfaces, it's still a decent score, spun a bit, when you bowl slower, it tended to grip and turn off the surface. With the red soil, you could get a bit from the pitch, it's still a good score, hopefully we'll start well in the chase.

"The last few games, I didn't bowl as much as I should at this venue, I tried to bowl slower, at times the speed works, but on this surface, bowling slower works. Not much, but we'll need to start well in the chase."
