Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has struck early, as he dismissed Mushfiqur Rahim to put Bangladesh in the backfoot after the second and final Test resumed on Day 4 at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. Mushfiqur misjudged the Bumrah delivery, and the result was clean bowled.

After smashing a boundary on the first ball of the 41st over, Mushfiqur's decision to leave Bumrah's fuller nip-backer that snuck through and clipped the top of the off-stump proved costly for him and the Bangladesh cricket team in the final Test.

After being unsettled by the previous ball, which nipped back sharply, Mushfiqur opted not to play at this one, but it was fuller and swung back in, crashing into the top of the off-stump. Bumrah finally got his breakthrough after consistently troubling the batters all morning.

Here's how Jasprit Bumrah stunned Mushfiqur Rahim:

Mushfiqur walks back after scoring 11 off 32 balls, including two boundaries. It was a great start for Team India after rain and a poor drainage system did not allow the teams to take field on Day 2 and Day 3 of the ongoing second and final Test at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur.

Well, Mominul Haque has been playing well, and he has already notched up his brilliant fifty in the ongoing Kanpur Test against India. At the moment, Bangladesh is batting at 138/4 in the ongoing final Test at the Green Park Stadium.

Speaking about the Green Park pitch, there are still a few soft patches in the outfield, but once the sun beats down, it will dry up. The pitch still looks good for batting, though the first hour may offer some assistance to the bowlers. If the batters could survive in that early phase, they should be able to take advantage and score freely later in the game in Kanpur.

Weather is something you're not in control of: Jasprit Bumrah

Before the start of the play on Day 4, Bumrah stressed that weather conditions are beyond control, so the player must quickly make adjustments and use experience. He highlighted the importance of communicating with teammates about the pitch and deciding the best lines and lengths to bowl.

Expressing his passion for Test cricket, Bumrah reaffirmed his love for the traditional format of the game, which he had long aspired to play. He was pleased to get some overs in and build his workload, as he has to bowl a lot during India’s crucial Test tour of Australia.

Bumrah was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz: “Weather is something you're not in control of. You have to quickly adjust; use your experience. You start communicating with the others as well about the pitch and the lines and lengths.

For me, my favorite format is the test format. I've said it before as well that I wanted to play this format, and I'm doing that now. Good to get some overs under the belt and build up those overs. The number of overs we bowl in Australia will be a lot more.”
