England fast bowler Jofra Archer sledged Team India all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy during the final innings of the ongoing third Test match at the Lord's Cricket Ground. The incident occurred on the final day (Monday, July 14) of the Test match, with Team India chasing a 193-run target to secure victory.
England tightened their grip with key wickets on Day 4 and Day 5. Jofra Archer dismissed opener Yashasvi Jaiswal for a duck. Brydon Carse removed Karun Nair (14) and Indian skipper Shubman Gill (6), while Ben Stokes cleaned up nightwatchman Akash Deep for just 1, leaving India at 58/4 by stumps.
Resuming on Monday, England struck three more times in quick succession, further denting India’s chase and putting the hosts firmly in control of the match.

Jofra Archer Takes Two Wickets In Opening Spell on Day 5
Archer delivered a fiery performance in his comeback match. After removing Yashasvi Jaiswal for a duck and Rishabh Pant for just nine runs earlier in the innings, Archer went on to dismiss Washington Sundar, leaving India struggling at 82/7 in their 193-run chase.
Sundar, who had bowled brilliantly in England’s second innings with figures of 4/22, couldn’t replicate his success with the bat. He was dismissed for a four-ball duck after edging a full delivery. Archer dived to his right and took a sharp return catch, further piling pressure on the visitors.
Earlier in the match, the right-arm fast bowler returned figures of 2 for 52 in 23.2 overs during the first innings, having dismissed both Jaiswal and Sundar.
