Josh Inglis Tricks Mohammad Rizwan

Pakistan National Cricket Team skipper Mohammad Rizwan was involved in a hilarious banter with his Australia counterpart Josh Inglis during the third ODI between the teams. The series decider of the three-match series took place at the Optus Stadium in Perth.

It was a fantastic start for Mohammad Rizwan as the captain of the team. The keeper-batter made an immediate impact after being appointed as the leader of the team. Under him, the Pakistan National Cricket Team won the ODI series in Australia after 22 years.

Mohammad Rizwan was spot on with his leadership throughout the series, in particular the third ODI of the series. The keeper-batter made terrific bowling changes and also was right on the money with their field placements in the game that made Australian batters think a lot.

Mohammad Rizwan played a vital hand for his team with the bat in the chase of 141

Rizwan also played a vital hand for his team with the bat in the chase of 141 in the third game. He came to bat after the Pakistan National Cricket Team lost two both the openers in quick succession of time and made sure that he took his team past the finishing line and won the series.

Rizwan looked decent with the bat and played some crisp shots in his innings. However, he was involved in a hilarious moment with Australia stand-in skipper Josh Inglis, who cheekily tried to stump out the Pakistan National Cricket Team.

While playing against Adam Zampa, Mohammad Rizwan attempted to play the drive, but he ended up hitting the ball straight to the bowler. He slipped on the followthrough as he completed the shot, and it was then when Josh Inglis, behind the stumps, lifted his bat and put it out of the crease.

Mohammad Rizwan ended with an unbeaten innings of 30 runs off 27 balls. He batted with a strike rate of over 111 and also hit 1 four and 2 sixes. Apart from him, Saim Ayub (42), Abdullah Shafique (37), and Babar Azam (28*) played valuable hands as Pakistan won the game by 8 wickets.

Pretty disappointing to be honest - Josh Inglis after loss in third ODI

Australia National Cricket Team stand-in skipper Josh Inglis talked about the loss and said that it was disappointing for them and admitted that they were outplayed. He also talked about captaining the team in front of his home ground and said:

"Pretty disappointing, to be honest; I think after the first three-quarters of the first game, we've been outplayed; the batters just didn't get the runs on the board in the last couple of games.

"Guys have their way of batting, but it's important to put together runs, stay out there and take the innings deep, and get the results. It was nice to be captaining in front of my home fans here in Perth, but the result was a disappointment."
