Kavya Maran had an animated expression on her face after Ishan Kishan was dismissed during the match between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday (April 25).
Set a target of 155 runs, SRH were off to a poor start with Abhishek Sharma falling for a two-ball duck. Travis Head got the start but did not last long and was dismissed for 19 by Anshul Kamboj.
CSK fight back with the ball
In-form Heinrich Klaasen could not deliver with the bat either and departed for just 7 as SRH found themselves reeling at 54/3 in the ninth over. Ishan Kishan and Aniket Verma then steadied the ship.

Ishan Kishan looked in good touch as he kept the scoreboard ticking at a good pace. However, just when it looked like he would bat SRH to a winning position, he fell to a soft dismissal.
Kavya Maran reacts as Ishan Kishan gets out:
It was the final ball of the 12th over when Ishan Kishan threw away his wicket. Left-arm spinner Noor Ahmad bowled a short delivery, and the wicketkeeper-batsman rocked back to pull the ball. However, he kept his shot too flat and paid a big price for it.
Even though the ball traveled at a good pace, it did not have enough height to evade the extended arms of Sam Curran. The CSK allrounder did well to hold on to the ball even though he tumbled down and fell on his back.
Rapid response 💪

Kishan departed after scoring 44 runs off 34 balls with the help of five fours and a six. And as soon as Curran took the catch, the cameras turned towards the stands where Kavya Maran's facial expression perfectly summed up SRH's position in the match.
The SRH owner did not really look angry, but she did have an expression of disbelief and disappointment on her face. Kavya Maran made it clear that she was not at all impressed with Kishan's dismissal.

Earlier in the game, CSK recovered from 74/4 to post a challenging total of 154 runs. Debutant Dewald Brevis top-scored for his side, scoring 42 runs, while Harshal Patel picked up 4 wickets for SRH.
