I didn’t have to do much, with the way KL Rahul batted - Tristan Stubbs
Tristan Stubbs called the win satisfying and admitted that he didn't have much pressure as KL Rahul did the job for the team. He also talked about batting at different positions, saying that he prepares himself to bat in every situation. Speaking after the game, he said:
"It was really satisfying, it came in a bit of a tricky situation, but the run rate never got out of hand. To be honest, I didn’t have to do much, with the way KL Rahul batted. We briefly mentioned it (about DLS par score) but I never really thought about it, we had so much extra time, so you always come back out here, so it’s about time to kick on.
"We had lost four wickets and then kept on losing wickets. I saw what Tim did in the end, it was just about one big over. Every sort of position is so different so you just tailor and be prepared for batting at the end. Often you enjoy batting later on in the game, in the beginning, you have to adjust quicker."
