Ishan Kishan plays a wonderful knock vs RCB
Kishan started off his Indian Premier League 2025 campaign with a terrific century for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and many expected him to set the stage on fire in the remainder of the competition.
That didn't happen as Ishan Kishan's performance went completely downhill, and he lost the momentum. Kishan also got out bizarrely, and it looked like he had completely lost his confidence.
However, he finally bounced back and played a wonderful innings against RCB. Kishan looked in good touch after arriving in the middle, and he played aggressive cricket.
He smashed an unbeaten 94 runs off 48 balls, with 7 fours and 5 sixes, and missed a well-deserved ton by 6 runs.
Meanwhile, during his innings, Ishan Kishan was involved in a hilarious banter with Krunal Pandya in the 14th over. On the first ball of the over, Ishan Kishan took a double off Krunal Pandya to complete his 17th IPL fifty.
As Krunal was about to deliver the second ball, he stopped in his delivery stride as he saw Kishan walking down the track to hit a boundary. Then, Krunal hilariously charged at Kishan and gestured something, which left the batter full of smile.

He's an unbelievable player - Ishan Kishan hailed
Speaking on ESPNCricinfo ahead of the match, Varun Aaron hailed Ishan Kishan as an unbelievable player, but said that he starts struggling once he thinks a lot. He said:
"Look, he started off really well, like you said. After that, he had a string of three dismissals where he got out really, really softly. One down the leg, I still remember it. One towards deep point and then one caught in cover. And they were really good shots. Except the down the leg one, obviously. And sometimes with Ishan Kishan, that can get him thinking too much.
"He's one of those players, I mean, I've been seeing him since he was a kid. When he has clarity of mind, he's an unbelievable player. The moment he's muddled with too many thoughts, that's when he starts trying to change things. He starts trying to change his rhythm and that's what something which has gotten to him throughout the season. I think the last two games, all that there should be in his mind is just come out and express himself."
Meanwhile, Tom Moody said that Ishan Kishan has struggled because he tries to follow the ultra-aggressive philosophy of Sunrisers Hyderabad. He stated:
"It's interesting because we know Ishan Kishan's naturally a stroke maker and he likes to go after the bowling, but I just wonder whether he's just got caught a little bit too much into the vacuum of what the Sunrisers' philosophy is, which you can't argue against it because it was very successful last year. It had its brief moments this year, but what we've commented on, they haven't adjusted.
"I think that Ishan Kishan has been a little bit caught up with what Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma's been doing at the top and maybe thinking too far ahead instead of thinking what's right in front of him, which is the very next ball he needs to deal with.
