England National Cricket Team have coped with a massive injury blow in the ongoing game against Afghanistan National Cricket Team in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Liam Livingstone faced an injury while fielding at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Wednesday.

Liam Livingstone injured himself while fielding in the 46th over of the innings when Jamie Overton was bowling to Ibrahim Zadran. The pacer bowled a fullish delivery on leg, to which the batter eased it towards long-on, where Livingstone came running.

However, as he attempted to grab the ball, Liam Livingstone felt some discomfort in his knee. It seemed that he pulled something as he failed to run freely. Skipper Jos Buttler then changed his fielding position but the all-rounder struggled with his knee.

As a result of that, Liam Livingstone then walked off the field to get some attention from the physios. The all-rounder was then seen sitting in the dugout with doctors checking on his leg.
