The 29-year-old Bangladesh National Cricket Team wicketkeeper-batsman Litton Das made sure that he took perfect revenge for being sledged by Pakistan National Cricket Team star Babar Azam in the first Test of the two-match series between the teams.
The first Test of the series between the Shan Masood-led side and the Najmul Hossain Shanto & Co. is currently underway at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, and three days have already passed.
In the three days of play, the batters have dominated and run-scoring has been quite easy with the bowlers - both pacers and spinners - struggling to pick wickets due to no help from the surface.
Amid the intense clash between bat and ball, an incident involving Babar Azam and Litton Das stole the spotlight on Day 3 of the first Test. On Friday, August 23, Das, while trying to build the innings with the aim of reducing Pakistan's lead, was batting brilliantly.
Looking at the Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batsman playing well, the former Pakistan captain Babar Azam decided to slegde him and get under his skin to disturb his focus. Babar was seen exchanging some words with Das before moving back to do the fielding.
However, Litton Das didn't take this lightly and he let his bat do the talking and take the revenge. The star speedster Naseem Shah came to bowl after the incident and Litton Das took his anger out on the young pacer.
Babar's slegde charged up Das as he decided to launch an attack on Naseem in the 89th over. He went down the track and smashed a four over Naseem's head before slamming yet another four in front of square.
The third delivery of the over was a dot ball but Das continued his attack and on the next ball smashed a humongous six outside the stadium. Litton Das followed it up with a four behind square before playing a dot to make it 18 runs off the over

At the end of the play on Day 3, the Bangladesh National Cricket Team were at 316/5 and were trailing by 132 runs. Looking at the current situation it looks like the match is heading towards a draw, which will be a big blow for Pakistan as they were hoping to dominate home Tests to make a strong case for the WTC final.
Speaking after the third day's play, Pakistan coach Azhar Mahmood didn't seem happy with the pitch preparation for the Rawalpindi Test as he said that they were hoping to see more pace and bounce, which were nowhere seen.
"We were hopeful to get a bounce and pace in the pitch for the Rawalpindi Test but unfortunately this didn't happen," assistant coach Azhar Mahmood said.
He also provided the explanation behind Pakistan fielding an all-pace attack against Bangladesh, saying that they made the decision keeping in mind the future series against England. He stated:
"Pakistan will play Test series against England in near future and keeping in mind future planning, Pakistan picked four fast-bowlers for Rawalpindi Test against Bangladesh."
