Chris Green bowled a length delivery just outside off, to which Stoinis pressed back as he attempted to play the pull shot. The ball got stuck in the pitch and came right off the toe end before going down to deep mid-wicket and it seemed that the ball would land safely.
But George Garton, who was stationed there, leaped forward and swooped it up as he did so. He then threw the ball up in celebration as the Melbourne Stars skipper Marcus Stoinis had to take the long walk back to the pavilion.
