India batter Shivam Dube made a decent contribution with the bat for his team in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 game against Australia. The match between the two teams is underway at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia.

Shivam Dube, who came up to bat at No.5, tried to up the ante and tried to keep up the momentum. The lanky all-rounder played some good shots in his innings and put the Australia bowlers under pressure at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia.

During the innings, Shivam Dube also had a kind of spat with Marcus Stoinis. On the last ball of the 15th over, the all-rounder bowled a yorker delivery right into the blockhole. The Indian batter stabbed it back to the pacer, who then tried to hit the batter, who came up with a cold reaction to it.

Here's the video:

After starting off briskly with the bat, Shivam Dube struggled with his timing in the latter half of the innings. The Southpaw tried to hit the big sixes but couldn't time it well as Australia bowlers bowled in good lines and lengths to him at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia.

Shivam Dube was removed by Marcus Stoinis in the 19th over of the game. The pacer bowled a full delivery on the boots, to which he tried to clear his front leg and flick it away. He played the half-hearted shot as the ball sailed into the hands of David Warner at deep mid-wicket who dived low to complete the catch.

Shivam Dube ended with an innings of 28 runs off 22 balls. The Southpaw played with a strike rate of over 227 and slammed 2 fours and 1 six in his innings. After he got out, Hardik Pandya (27*) finished the innings on high and made sure that India went past 200 runs.

Earlier with the bat, skipper Rohit Sharma played a sensational innings with the bat. The captain scored 92 runs off 41 balls. Suryakumar Yadav (31) supported him well and based on the strong start and finish, India posted a total of 205 runs on the board.
