England speedster Mark Wood has been sensational with the ball in the ongoing third game of the series against the West Indies National Cricket Team. The last game of the series between the teams is taking place at the Edgbaston in Birmingham.

West Indies aren't having a great time with the bat in the second innings of the ongoing Test match against England. One of the prime reasons behind that has been fast bowler Mark Wood. The right-arm pacer has made the opposition batters look clueless with his brilliant spell of fast bowling.

Mark Wood, with his fiery spell, has looked unplayable, and it was quite evident after he removed Alzarri Joesph with a peach. The fast bowler bowled a fiery ball to which the batter had no clue and had to take the long walk to the pavilion without making a bigger contribution.

Mark Wood had a full and fastball that was swinging into the middle stump. The pace of the delivery was such that Alzarri Joseph got hesitant to get forward, and it was the result of a couple of bouncers that he bowled before. The ball zipped in and went between the bat-pad gap before flattening the middle stump.

Here's the video:

Alzarri Joseph couldn't make a bigger contribution as he scored just 2 runs off 10 balls. After taking his wicket, England pacer Mark Wood was all over the West Indies National Cricket Team as he wrapped up the tail pretty quickly.

Mark Wood picks a fifer

Mark Wood, in the 52nd over, brought out his best with the ball as he picked three wickets. He first started the over with the wicket of Kavem Hodge as he found the outside edge of his bat and ended his innings for 55 runs off 76 balls. He was the only lone warrior for his team in the second innings.

After that Mark Wood uprooted the off-stump of Jayden Seales. The fast bowler bowled a fast and straight ball on off-stump that had late movement away again and as it went past the outside edge to remove the batter.

On the last ball of the over, Mark Wood removed Shamar Joseph to claim his fifer. He pitched it up full outside off enticed the drive and Shamar Joseph went at it with all hands. The ball caught the outside edge and was caught by Harry Brook in the second slip as West Indies ended on a total under 200 runs in the second innings.

Mark Wood ended with the figures of 5/40 and his incredible spell with the ball saw England bundling out West Indies National Cricket Team for 175 runs and setting themselves a target of 81 runs to chase. They would be eager to win the game as quickly as possible and complete the 3-0 whitewash. Skipper Ben Stokes has come out to open the innings and he would be keen to get some runs and end the series on high.
