Watch: Mayank Yadav's sensational maiden over makes him 3rd Indian to achieve a historic feat

India National Cricket Team fast bowler Mayank Yadav had a dream start to his first-ever game in the national colors. The pacer has set the stage on fire in the ongoing first Test against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team, which is underway at the Gwalior.

Mayank started his T20I career on a high note as he bowled a terrific first over that troubled the Bangladesh National Cricket Team batters. The fast bowler started his career with the maiden over as he made Towhid Hridoy look clueless with his pacemaker.

Mayank started off the over with 141.8kph. It was a length ball that was length ball wide off, which was left by the batter. After that, he racked up his speed and delivered a 145.7kph full ball, which shaped away a bit and was watchfully pushed towards mid-off by the batter.

On the third ball, Mayank beat the batter with a 137.9kph delivery. Towhid Hridoy backed away a long way to cut but was saved by the bounce as the ball went over the stumps. He bowled the fastest delivery of the over on the 4th ball of the over, which was bowled at 147.3kph.

It was a back-of-a-length delivery, to which Towhid Hridoy stayed the leg-side of the ball to guide it to the backward point. After that, he bowled 135.1kph, which was also dot. Before ending the over another pacy ball that was darted on the leg stump. He also became the third Indian bowler to bowl a maiden over as the first over of his T20I career.

For his exceptional first bowling, Mayank was rewarded on the second ball of the second over that he bowled. The fast bowler removed Mahmudullah to pick his first international wicket in the T20I cricket for the India National Cricket Team.

Mayank bowled a 146.1kph delivery to which Mahmudullah danced down the track and moved leg-side to flay it over the off-side. The batter ended up slicing the short of a length ball in the air and offered a dolly for Washington Sundar at the deep point.

Mayank Yadav returns with figures of 1/21

Mahmudullah ended with the innings of 1 runs off 2 balls. Mayank Yadav had a terrible first two overs in his career. He gave away just 3 runs in the first 12 balls, but after that, he was taken for runs in the third over that he bowled.

Mayank had a stellar outing with the ball in the first game for the India National Cricket Team. He returned with the figures of 1/21 in the 4 overs that he bowled and put his team in the top spot in the ongoing first T20I against Bangladesh.

India overall had a great outing with the ball. Arshdeep Singh started the proceedings for the team and picked two wickets early on. After that, Varun Chakaravarthy picked three wickets in the middle, and also Washington Sundar chipped in as well.
