Watch: Mehidy Hasan Miraz gifts bat to Rohit Sharma in a unique business promotion

Bangladesh National Cricket Team all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz gifted a bat to India National Cricket Team skipper Rohit Sharma. This comes after the teams were engaged in the two-match Test series, which was won by the hosts by the margin of 2-0.

Rohit Sharma and Mehidy Hasan Miraz were up against each other as the two gave their best for their teams. The India National Cricket Team skipper was top-notch with his leadership skills for the team, as he ticked almost every box right and helped the team win.

Rohit, although, didn't have a great outing with the bat in the series. But he made sure that he made up for that with his captaincy in both the games. In the second game, he played brutal innings with the bat and showed the way to his team how to bat after two and half days were washed out.

What was the highlight of the second Test in Kanpur was Rohit stepping out on the first ball that he faced and dispatching it for a massive six. He scored 23 runs in 11 balls and others followed him as India took a lead of 52 runs in the second game.

After the Test series between India and Bangladesh concluded, Mehidy Hasan Miraz came with a heartfelt gesture for the India National Cricket Team skipper Rohit. The all-rounder gave the opening batter a bat and shared a video was shared on a social media account.

Mehidy Hasan said: "I am with Rohit bhai and I gifted him a bat from my company. I always wished to give him a bat and so I am very happy."

Mehidy notably started a bat company named 'MKS Sports' alongside Imrul Kayes and his other friends last year. He has been promoting his company since then and by gifting bat to Rohit Sharma, it will be a major boost for his firm.

Rohit Sharma, after getting a bat from Mehidy Hasan Miraz, said that he is proud of the Bangladesh cricketer that he has opened his own bat company. He also wished the all-rounder good luck in taking his company to heights. He explained:

"I know Mehidy from a long time. He is a very good cricketer. And I am very proud of him that he has started his own bat company along with some of his friends. I want to wish him all the best, May god give him all the success. And I hope this company will rise above everyone else."

In the second Test between the teams, Mehidy Hasan Miraz removed Rohit Sharma in both the innings. While the Bangladesh all-rounder will be part of the T20I series, Rohit will take time off. He will return to action in the three-match Test series against New Zealand, starting 16th October.
