Humorous or fun moments are never far away whenever India captain Rohit Sharma is on the field. Time and again, the veteran batsman has left the fans in splits with his nonchalant attitude on the field.

And he was at it again on Friday (August 2) during the first ODI of the ongoing three-match series against Sri Lanka at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Rohit Sharma came up with an absolutely hilarious reaction when his teammates turned to him to seek his advice on a DRS call.

The incident took place in the 29th over when Washington Sundar was bowling to Dunith Wellalage. On the fifth ball of the over, Wellalage ended up yorking himself while attempting a front foot defense. With the bat and pad close, the Indian players went up in unison for an lbw decision only to see the umpire giving his decision in the batsman's favour.

As soon as the umpire turned down India's appeal, the Indian players looked towards Rohit Sharma for a DRS call. The Indian captain, however, was not confident and sought input from the bowler. However, Sundar was not very confident either and he wanted the captain to take the call. And the India skipper came up with a hilarious reaction, telling Sundar: "What?? You tell me, mere ko kya dekh rha hai?"

Meanwhile, India are very much in the driver's seat in the ongoing game. At the time of writing this report, Sri Lanka were on 185/7 in the 45th over with Wellalage and Akila Dananjaya batting in the middle. Batting first, Sri Lanka have been losing wickets at regular intervals right from the start.

At one stage, they were reeling at 101 for 5 before recovering to take their score past the 180-run mark. The hosts would be hoping to post a 220-plus total to challenge India's formidable batting lineup. Earlier, Team India whitewashed the hosts in the three-match T20I series and will be looking to extend their winning run.
