While the fans will now wait for the biopic, it is worth reminding that cricket and Bollywood have produced a good mix of success in recent times. It is reported that a few shots of the movie took place at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.
Mithali, 39, holds a legendary status in world cricket as she became the first woman to complete 20 years in Women’s cricket. With more than 10000 WODI runs, she is the all-time highest run-getter in the ODI format of the Women’s game. After ending as runners-up in the 2017 edition of the Women’s World Cup, Mithali will certainly try to get one better this time and add another feather to the cap.
