Michael Bracewell and Finn Allen shine with the bat for New Zealand
Speaking about the match, the Black Caps had a great start with the openers Tim Seifert (44 runs off 22 balls) and Finn Allen (50 runs off 20 balls) adding 59 runs off 25 balls for the opening stand. Allen then stitched a 49-run partnership with Mark Chapman (24 runs off 16 balls) for the second wicket.
After Chapman and Allen’s wicket, there was a mini batting collapse, but then Daryl Mitchell (29 runs off 23 balls) and Michael Bracewell added 56 runs off 30 balls to take the Black Caps to 220/6 runs on the board against Pakistan in the ongoing fourth T20I match at the Bay Oval.
New Zealand captain Bracewell remained unbeaten on 46 runs off 26 balls, laced with five boundaries and two sixes against the Men in Green in the crucial game. It was a great batting performance from the hosts after their poor performance in the third T20I at the Bay Oval.

'Eden Park is a special ground'
For the Pakistan team, Haris Rauf scalped three wickets in his four overs while conceding 27 runs. Abrar Ahmed also chipped in with two wickets while Abbad Afridi got a piece against the Black Caps in the ongoing fourth T20I at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui.
Before the match, Bracewell said that the hosts are looking to post 230-240 runs on the board, as the tourists successfully chased down 205 runs easily in the third game. However, the Black Caps fell 10-20 runs short of the expected target in the ongoing fourth game against the Men in Green.
Micheal Bracewell said at the toss, “Eden Park is a special ground; strange kinds of things happen there. We scored 200, but they batted particularly well. We needed a partnership in the middle that would have taken us to 230-240 maybe, but this is a different kind of ground, and we have to assess accordingly.”
