Mohammed Siraj yet again chipped in with crucial wickets for the team in the ICC World Cup 2023. The last league game of the tournament took place between India and the Netherlands at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
After India posted a total of 410 runs on the board, Mohammed Siraj drew the first blood for his team as he removed Wesley Barresi. The pacer took his team off the flying start in their last game. But his best came when he came in his second spell and picked the wicket of Sybrand Engelbrecht.
Mohammed Siraj bowled a 138.7 kmph from around the wicket. He got his execution spot on as the ball pitched between the bat and boot of Sybrand Engelbrecht. The batter almost fell as he tried to defend. But the ball went on and hit the stumps hard. Here???s the video:

IND vs NED: Very pleased with how we have played ??? Rohit Sharma after India???s win over the Netherlands
Rohit Sharma talked about the win India bagged against the Netherlands. He talked about the clinical effort of the team throughout the entire tournament and said that it???s a good sign for the team that everyone wants to contribute. Speaking at the post-match presentation, he explained:
???Since we started the tournament, for us, it was all about thinking about one game at a time and playing that game well. We never wanted to look too far ahead because it???s a long tournament. It was important for us to break it down and focus on one game and play that well. That is what everyone did. Because you play in different venues and different conditions, you got to adapt and play accordingly, that???s exactly what we did.
???Very pleased with how we have played in these nine games. Very clinical from game one till today. That???s because different individuals have stepped up at different times. This is a good sign for the team when everyone wants to take the responsibility and get the job done for the team.???
India will be next seen in action when they will take on New Zealand in the semi-final 1 of the ICC World Cup 2023. The match will take place at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on 15th November.
