Indian Cricket Team’s Speedster Mohammed Siraj made headlines in the County Setup. The impeccable fast bowler made the most of the conditions and grabbed a 5-wicket haul on County Debut for Warwickshire. The Indian pacer was bowling express pace which helped Warwickshire bundle out Somerset for 219 runs.

Siraj who was a part of England. Caribbean & Zimbabwe tours had pretty successful outings. The pacer was not a part of Asia Cup 2022 where he could have been effective as he has control over his line & length. Siraj would be well aware that he needs to tweak his game a little bit to become a permanent member of the T20I setup.

Siraj Produces a Scintillating Performance

The fast bowler was joyed after taking his 5-wicket haul. He was seen interacting after the post-match press conference. “In West Indies and England also I bowled well, my rhythm was good in the first match as well, so my plan was to hit an area consistently without worrying whether I will get wickets or not.” He said.

“So just wanted to keep hitting the right areas and bowl dot balls to build up pressure on the opposition. Starting with the new ball, I went for wickets a few times but as you know white ball doesn’t swing much, so I was planning to consistently hit one area and bowl maiden overs.”

Mohammed Siraj on a Roll

The speedster won’t be able to believe that he got his maiden five-wicket haul on debut. We all know how difficult is for a seamer to succeed in English Conditions where the conditions are so unpredictable. BCCI would be having a keen eye on Siraj as he is quite important to Test Setup.

The fast bowler has a never to say die attitude which makes him a stand-out bowler. The pacer is quite aggressive and is always ready for any sort of uphill challenge. We all should not forget that he has become an integral part of the Test Team in a couple of years.
