The Indian bowlers in this game have a lot of runs still in the tank. However, they should look to win the match by a big margin and have started well with the ball.

Avesh Khan then dismissed Dion Myers (0) and then took the big wicket of Sikandar Raza (4) to peg back Zimbabwe in the chase.

The Zimbabwean skipper Raza, was the Man of the Match for his team in the first T20I. He first scored 17 off 19 balls and then took 3/ 25 with the ball to win the match for his side. It needed a special ball to dismiss him and lavish Khan delivered a perfect and pacy bounder that caught Raza off guard and he was caught by Dhruv Jurel.

Ruturaj Gaikwad spoke about the Indian innings in the mid-innings break talking about the pitch and Abhishek Sharma's innings as well.

"It was pretty much tough, the first 15 balls I played, I didn’t even middle a single ball. Wicket was slightly tough, me and Abhishek talked that we should take our time and then go for our shots and it worked. He took on the spinners really well, we talked about maintaining our shape while playing our shots, the wicket was slightly two-paced, some balls were skidding and some were holding up" Gaikwad said.
