Mustfizur Rahman was furious with his teammate Sediqullah Atal after a miscommunication between them resulted in a dropped catch during the game between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
The incident took place on the very last ball of the innings when Mustafizur Rahman was bowling to Marcus Stoinis. It was a slower length ball from the Bangladesh star, and Stoinis ended up miscuing the ball towards the midwicket region.
As soon as Stoinis hit the shot, both Mustafizur Rahman and Atal charged towards midwicket to take the catch. However, there was no communication between the two. Fortunately, they avoided a collision but dropped the catch.
As a result, Mustafizur Rahman not only lost the opportunity to take a wicket but Punjab Kings also got two precious runs. The left-arm pacer was not at all happy with Atal and did not shy away from venting his frustration.

Talking about the game, Punjab Kings recovered from a shaky start to post a 200-plus total. They lost two wickets inside the powerplay and were reeling at 118/4 at one stage. However, a half-century from their captain Shreyas Iyer and Stoinis' whirlwind knock of 44 runs helped them finish their innings on 206/8.
Iyer scored 53 runs off 34 balls, including 5 fours and 2 sixes. On the other hand, Stoinis' 44-run knock came off just 16 balls and was studded with 3 fours and 4 sixes. The likes of Josh Inglis (32) and Prabhsimran Singh (28) played crucial knocks too.
For Delhi Capitals, Mustafizur Rahman picked up 3 wickets while Vipraj Nigam and Kuldeep Yadav claimed 2 wickets each.
With a big total on the scoreboard, Punjab Kings will be confident of defending the total and registering a crucial win. A win in the ongoing game will take them to the top of the points table with one league game remaining. They are currently in the second spot in the table with 17 points from 12 games.
