Nepal U19 player Yuvraj Khatri had a great outing with the ball in the game against Bangladesh U19 National Cricket Team in the U19 Asia Cup 2024. The match between the two teams took place at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai on Monday (2nd December).

Yuvraj Khatri spun the web around the Bangladesh U19 batters and made them look clueless. Although his team failed to win the game, he was the shining light for his team with the ball and kept his team in the hunt while defending the low total.

Yuvraj Khatri made twin strikes in the game

Yuvraj made twin strikes in the game and put pressure on the opposition batters. However, the joy turned into agony for him as immediately after that he got injured and was taken off the field as he couldn't walk properly.

Yuvraj, on the 5th ball of the 28th over, castled the stumps of Farid Hasan Faysal as the batter went for a paddle sweep. The ball missed the bat and went on to hit the stumps. On the next ball, he struck again and picked the second wicket of the over.

Yuvraj Khatri trapped Md Rizan Hossan in the lbw and was chuffed to bits for taking two wickets in two balls. He ran in jubilation to celebrate the wicket, and as he put the jump, he seemed to have twisted his ankle and was down on the ground right after that.

He looked in immense pain and couldn't ever walk properly as he was taken off the field by one of his teammates on his back. The video of the entire incident went viral on the internet as his celebrations turned into pain.
