Ravindra Jadeja gets Zak Crawley after a no-ball

England have looked dominant in the ongoing fourth Test match of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025, thanks to brilliant batting performances of the openers.

Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley showcased sheer dominance from the very start of England's innings on Day 2. Things were made easy for the England openers by the Indian bowlers, who bowled poor lines and lengths.

Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett punished the Indian team for their poor bowling and took the bowlers to the cleaners, scoring runs at a great pace.

Crawley looked all set for a century, but his innings was brought to an end in the 32nd over. On the sixth ball of the over, Crawley swept Ravindra Jadeja's good-length delivery for a four.

Jadeja was about to go back to his fielding position after the over, but the umpire called him back as he had overstepped. Then, the next ball turned out to be a game-changer for India as Jadeja dismissed Zak Crawley.

On the actual last ball of the 32nd over, Jadeja bowled a good length delivery to Crawley, who got forward to defend but got an edge, and the ball went towards KL Rahul, who grabbed a stunning low catch at slip.

You can see why they [England] like him for Australia [this winter] - Nasser Hussain

Speaking on Sky Sports, Nasser Hussain lauded Crawley, who scored 84 runs off 113 balls, saying that England team management likes him a lot because he is capable of playing big knocks. He said:

"He [Crawley] likes this ground, his record here is excellent. He scored a big 180 against Australia the last time he batted here. It suits his game - it comes onto the bat and he hits through the line.

"You often get fans going 'Crawley again?' But you can see why they [England] like him for Australia [this winter].

"In Australia you have a variety of pitches, but this one is similar to some of the ones you'll see over there - pace, bounce, a good cricket pitch."

Meanwhile, Michael Atherton lauded Ben Duckett, who fell six runs short of his hundred at Old Trafford in Manchester. He said that Ben Duckett has been excellent since getting regular opportunities at the international level. Atherton stated:

“Duckett has been such a good player since returning to the team after a stop-start international career in his early days.

"He is really flourishing now across formats - and he and Crawley have India under pressure here."
