Babar Azam plays key role in Noman Ali's sensational hat-trick against West Indies
It all started with the ball of the 12th over. Noman delivered a flighted ball on the off-stump, which sharply turned after pitching. Justin Greaves, while trying to defend, got an edge that flew between the first and second slips. Babar Azam, who was stationed at second slip, moved swiftly to his left and took a clean catch, as Greaves departed for just 1 run off 3 balls.
In the very next ball, Tevin Imlach has found himself caught in the trap set by the Pakistan spinner. Actually, Tevin Imlach tried to sweep a fuller delivery on off-stump but missed it completely, as the ball doesn't turn much, and the 28-year-old was trapped LBW for a duck.

And on his hat-trick ball, Noman sent Kevin Sinclair back to the pavilion for a duck with a fuller ball that spins away from off-stump. Kevin Sinclair played with an angled bat, and the ball spun away to take an edge. And yet again, Babar Azam dived low to his right to take another sharp catch.
After completing the hat trick, Noman Ali raised his fist in celebration as his teammates rushed to surround the spinner to celebrate his historic milestone, as he has become the first Pakistani spinner to do so in Test cricket by just keeping things simple and letting the pitch do the rest.
Mohammad Hurraira hit on the helmet on Day 1 of the Multan Test
Meanwhile, an awful incident unfolded during the 23rd over of West Indies’ first innings against Pakistan in Multan as the Pakistani batter Mohammad Hurraira was hit on the helmet at first slip. Actually, Abrar Ahmed bowled a flighted delivery down the leg side, and Gudakesh Motie swept it hard, but the ball struck Hurraira’s helmet before rolling behind square on the on-side.
After which, the Pakistan team’s physio rushed into the ground to check Mohammad Hurraira, possibly for the concussion. Fortunately, Hurraira was just a little dazed, but he had to walk off the field just as a precaution, and Kamran Ghulam took over at first slip with a new helmet.
