During the match, one of the spectators was seen poking fun at the pacer for not being part of the current Pakistan setup and for dropping a catch during the semi-final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021, which was held in UAE.

The Pakistani pacer was visibly frustrated at the crowd, who mocked him, and he lost his cool. Ali charged toward the crowd, before being dragged back by the people present at the venue.

The dropped catch turned out to be a game-changing moment as veteran wicketkeeper-batter Wade then smashed three consecutive sixes to take his side into the final by registering a five-wicket win in Dubai.

Talking further about Ali, who was once a regular in all formats for Pakistan, he lost his place in the team after a string of poor performances. So far, he has played 21 Tests, 60 ODIs, and 50 T20Is for Pakistan, picking up 77 Test wickets, 91 ODI wickets, and 60 T20I wickets.

Speaking of Pakistan, they are currently involved in a three-match Test series against England. The Babar Azam & Co. became the latest victims of ‘Bazball’ when they failed to chase down the target of 343 runs on the flat Rawalpindi surface and lost by 74 runs in the first Test.
