Australian captain Pat Cummins has stirred controversy with a bold statement ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT 2024-25) series against India. Pat Cummins said that no one from the Indian team would be good enough for the Australian team, and the video has gone viral on social media.
Ahead of the 2023 ODI World Cup final encounter against India, Pat Cummins said that his team would look to silence the crowd at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. On November 19, Cummins and his team lived up to that promise and won the final match in front of thousands of Indian fans.

Rishabh Pant Was My Skipper At Delhi Capitals - Mitchell Marsh
Nathan Lyon said that Virat Kohli would strengthen the batting order alongside Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne. Mitchell Marsh picked Rishabh Pant, describing him as a good, light-hearted player.
“It’d be a pretty strong batting lineup having Smith, Marnus and Virat in your top order," Nathan Lyon said.
“Rishabh Pant. Batting at No.5, he is such a good light-hearted, young fellow. He was my skipper at Delhi Capitals, he is a ripper," Mitchell Marsh said.
Jasprit Bumrah Is A Three-Format Player - Scott Boland
Travis Head chose India captain Rohit Sharma over Virat Kohli due to his aggressive batting style at the top of the order. Scott Boland, on the other hand, named Jasprit Bumrah, describing him as one of the best bowlers in the world across all three formats.
"I'll go Rohit Sharma at the top, he is batting pretty aggressively, isn't he? I am happy with an aggressive bloke. Think you would have thought a generic response like Virat so I'll go the other way and go Rohit at the top," said Travis Head.
"I'll choose Jasprit Bumrah. He is a three-format player and one of the best bowlers in the world," Scott Boland said.
Speaking about the BGT 2024-25, the Indian team is coming off a 0-3 whitewash against New Zealand in the home series. India will be without captain Rohit Sharma, who is missing the Test for the birth of his second child. Shubman Gill fractured his thumb during a match simulation against India A.
The upcoming five-match Test series will also be crucial for defending champions Australia to qualify for the World Test Championship 2025 final. The first Test is set to take place at Optus Stadium in Perth, starting on Friday, November 22. Notably, Australia lost their last two home Test series to India.
