Pat Cummins, the Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper, was recently spotted at an event during the promotion of an upcoming Telugu film, 'Peddi,' which features renowned Bollywood actress Jahnvi Kapoor as the heroine of the film.
Overseas cricketers arriving in India and often being part of campaigns and being involved with Bollywood or Tollywood seems pretty common. Formerly, David Warner, the Australian opener, was also influenced by Tollywood's culture.

Recently, during a promotional appearance alongside the Indian actress Jahnvi Kapoor, Pat Cummins, the experienced campaigner, was spotted bowling to the Indian actress.
Cummins could be seen bowling underarm deliveries to the actress who has been promoting her upcoming Telugu movie, "Peddi." Jahnvi, who had practised playing cricket shots during her former movies, was seen dancing down the track while hitting the ball.
The ball went on to be smashed against the phone of one of the spectators in the crowd surrounding the cricketer and the young actress.

Skipper Cummins ignores Actress Jahnvi Kapoor during a viral event in Hyderabad.
During a recent viral event organised by New Balance, a brand known for several sports equipment, actress Jahnvi Kapoor and Sunrisers Hyderabad star cricketer Pat Cummins were spotted in a viral conversation.
During the chat, Janhvi was seen calling out Cummins in between his talk with others who were also part of the conversation. However, Cummins did not respond to Janhvi and instead ignored her in a moment that went acutely viral.
He soon, however, turned to the actress and responded later, but for that instant moment, it seemed that the world-famous cricketer did not bother looking at the actress.

Sunrisers have sealed a spot in the playoffs; IPL knockouts are loading for Cummins and Co.
Sunrisers Hyderabad have played 13 matches so far in this season and have managed to win 8 matches. They are currently 3rd on the IPL 2026 points table while sharing the points tally with the Gujarat Titans.
Pat Cummins has led them to the playoffs of this season and has also played six games in the season, returning with eight wickets this season. He had formerly led the Sunrisers to the IPL final in 2024. Now that they are in the playoffs, they would look to finish in the top 2 with a win against RCB in the final league match of the season.
