India National Cricket Team pacer Harshit Rana has a debut to forget in the ongoing game against the England National Cricket Team, thanks to Phil Salt. The opening game of the three-match series between the teams is taking place at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur.

Harshit Rana, who took the new ball alongside Mohammed Shami, is having a torrid time with the ball. In the first over that he bowled, he gave away 11 runs and then made a strong comeback as he delivered a maiden over and it seemed that he found his rhythm.

But things turned worse for him as England National Cricket opener Phil Salt was all over Harshit Rana in the third over. The keeper-batter started the over with the six but it was the top edge that flew away for a maximum over the head of keeper KL Rahul.

On the second ball, Phil Salt played an uppish drive through the covers for the four and then followed it up with another six. Harshit Rana bowled a slower delivery just outside off stump to which Salt put the knee down and played slog-sweep over backward square leg.

The fourth ball by Harshit Rana resulted in another boundary. The pacer bowled a length delivery to which Phil Salt put his foot across and smashed it for four the fifth ball of the over resulted in a dot before the England National Cricket Team ended the over on high.

Phil Salt played the authoritative pull shot to the short ball by Harshit Rana and nailed it flat over mid-wicket for a massive six. He smashed 26 runs in one over and helped the England National Cricket Team go past the 50-run mark in just the first 6 overs of the game.
