Mohammed Siraj Sledges Joe Root
The India National Cricket Team were invited to bowl first in the match by the Three Lions, and so far, the visiting bowlers have looked in terrific form.
From the very first over, the Jasprit Bumrah-led attack has been bowling exceptionally, but have not gotten as many wickets as they deserve.
All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy reduced the English team to 44/2 with his twin strikes in the 14th over, and after that, the run rate of the hosts has kept on decreasing and dropped below 3.
Joe Root and Ollie Pope found it very difficult to score runs against the Indian bowling unit, and there was a phase where the batters went without scoring a run for 29 balls.
As India successfully tamed Bazball, Mohammed Siraj saw this opportunity to sledge Joe Root in the 31st over. Mohammed Siraj was seen saying, "Baz, Baz, Bazball. Play Bazball. I want to see."

We've become so used to Bazball over the last three years - Michael Atherton
Speaking on Sky Sports, former England skipper Michael Atherton expressed his surprise over the slow scoring rate of the English team. He said:
"Yeah, we've become so used to Bazball over the last three years and them scoring at four, five, sometimes more than that, and over. Three and over is not, by the standards of back in the day, is not terribly slow. It's how it often was.
"But because of how England have played in the last two or three years, that the contrast is marked. And it's been tricky. The ball has done a bit, did a bit with the new ball. In the second hour this morning, it did quite a lot as the were off the ball. India have got a good attack. Bumrah, Siraj, Akash Deep."
"Three good seamers and they've got ready to add a little bit extra as fourth. So it's been hard work to score the runs and the pitch is slow. It's not been easy to time the ball. So you put that combination of factors together and that's the result. Three and over and England have had to suck it up a little bit after lunch. I think there were 28 dot balls in a row when I was on just after lunch. That was a fascinating piece of commentary in cricket," he added.
"But you know, you used to get those passages of play where you had to soak it up and the bowlers were on top and it wasn't easy."
